What lead you to become a Nail Tech?

Saw the opportunity to do something tangible with my artistic side!

If you could do any other career, what would you do?

I’m not really sure. I love what I do so much I can’t think of doing anything else now! I worked in dentistry for 15+ years before. Not my fave! My favourite time was being a stay at home Mom. 9 years almost. Fabulous!

What do you enjoy most about being an Educator for Fuzion?

I love meeting people period. I’m definitely a people person! Being an educator now is a chance to share what’s been shared with me. It wasn’t that long ago that I thought I’d never be able to get that French White right! I hope that makes me relatable and able to genuinely encourage my students through the rough spots.

Who inspires you and why?

Lots of people! My mother in law is an amazing lady. My sons inspire me as well. They are kind. Good hearts inspire me!

What is your ideal work environment?

A quaint shop in a small town. Clients that quickly turn into coffee dates!

What’s your philosophy towards your work?

My clients don’t leave my desk until they are happy. I was the client for many years. I have tried to eliminate the things that irked me as a nail client.

Proudest career moment?

Getting my certification as a Fuzion Educator was a highlight!

A sentence or quote that best describes you?

There is always something to be thankful for. Always!

What does being a role model mean to you?

Integrity. The world needs more of that.

What advice would you give your 10 year old self?

Know what you know. See what you see. Feel what you feel.

Favourite Beauty Product?

A smile!

Favourite Colour?

Hidden Talent?

Does folding a fitted sheet count?
