What lead you to become a Nail Tech?
I started out just doing hair working in salons and then decided to expand my skills and got into doing nails and absolutely fell in love with it and now it is all that I do.
If you could do any other career, what would you do?
I would study criminal law.
What do you enjoy most about being a Educator for Fuzion?
I love the fact that I get to do my hobby for a job. I love the fact that I get to teach people that share the same passions as I do.
Who inspires you and why?
Cheryl McLaughlin first off I admire her strength and her ability to make her dreams happen. After going to the Fuzion Educator Summit though there are a lot of other women that I completely look up to. Everyone has their own thing going on and it’s so nice to be able to learn from the best of the best.
What is your ideal work environment?
My ideal working environment at the moment is working from my home, it gives me the flexibility that I need to be a mom. Eventually I would like to move and have some sort of storefront.
What’s your philosophy towards your work?
My philosophy is to never stop learning. The industry is constantly changing and it’s nice to be able to keep up on that. I take a lot of pride in what I do and I always want to be the best that I can be.
Proudest career moment?
Being accepted as a Fuzion Educator.
A sentence or quote that best describes you?
Variety is the spice of life.
What advice would you give your 10 year old self?
Listen to your parents.. they know more then you do!
